Volunteer Opportunities

We are now at the start of the season.  This is when you need to step up and help us out. See below several opportunities to help out by volunteering your time.

It takes ALL OF US to help out a little in order to make the season a success for our players.

There are multiple sessions available so select a couple that fit your schedule. Notice that there are FOUR different sign ups. Those of you that can't volunteer your time could donate a food item for our players.

Contact us if you have questions regarding any of this information. The only way that we can keep these traditions going each year is when we receive help from the parents.

Eisele's Flower Sale

The Eisele's Flower Sale is held in the spring with flowers typically delivered just in time for Mother's Day.  Volunteers are need for some of the sale set up and preparation but primarily needed for the flower pick up and distribution on the Saturday before Mother's Day.

Heggies Pizza Sale

Players sell Heggies pizza in spring/early summer.

For 2023 sale will be May 21st to June 5th.  Thank you to all players who participated and sold pizzas!

Eagle Card Sales

Players and families are responsible for sales of the Eagle Card fundraiser.  This fundraiser begins with the Spring Player/Parent Meeting in May and concludes prior to Team Camp in June.  Volunteers are needed to help coordinate player sales.

Meat Feed

Each season the booster club provides a team picnic on the Friday of the first week of training camp for all players grades 9-12.  Volunteers are needed to pick up, cook, and serve food at the stadium.

Concessions

The AVQBC operates the concessions stand for home games and all revenue goes to the club.  Volunteers are required to purchase items to be sold, set up concessions prior to games, and to work the concessions stand during games.  Typically this is done by parents of 9th and 10th grade players.

Post Game Meals

The AVQBC partners with local businesses to provide a post game meal to players after varsity games.  Volunteers are needed to pick up meals and to set up and serve meals at AVHS.

Spirit Wear

The AVQBC provides opportunities to purchase a variety of Apple Valley Football clothing and other fan gear.  Volunteers are needed to work with vendors to place orders, to organize the deliveries, and to sell at events.

Banquet

The post season banquet is the culminating event for players and families at the end of the season and includes a meal and awards presentation.  Volunteers are needed for facility set up and food preparation.

Drive Event

The AVQBC partners with Apple Valley Ford/Lincoln for a test drive fundraiser that takes place at AVHS and if possible is part of AVFB Preview Night.  Volunteers are needed for organization and registration at the event.
